-Indoor is bunk systems or cots if they choose to spread out more

-Sleeping is head to foot

-Showers in river or indoor

-Nurses station is available 24 hours a day

-Equipment will be rotated and quarantined

2021 Registration available November 1!

Our camps are fully committed to developing character and social skills for children with special needs ages 9-17. These 1-2 week long camps are geared to focus on respect, boundaries, and appropriate behavior and our LITE "Leaders in Training Experience" sessions for ages 12-17 focus on leadership, advocacy & transition skills. The overnight camps build confidence and behavioral skills, using high energy activities, structured learning, and abundant team opportunities. Family Foundations Minnesota is accredited with the American Camp Association. Youth build communication, trust, self-control, transition skills, teamwork, self-advocacy, and much more. Camp is an outdoor based, hands-on experience that allows children of all needs an opportunity to reach their potential.

We are available year round to answer questions about behavior strategies, IEP & Due Process, or serve as a liason for parental support & resources. Our holistic approach teams parents, agencies, social workers, and family members. This approach allows the full impact from camp to be felt not only during camp but throughout the year. Informal assessment tools can be given and behavior plans tailored to your child can be created through Camp of Champs at no cost to you.
